Now, lets take a look at the car of the president of the United States Of America. It's a modified Cadillac limousine.

The Presidential state car is the official state car used by the President of the United States. A variety of vehicles have both officially and unofficially been acknowledged as the presidential vehicle. Since the late 1930s, the Federal government of the United States has specially commissioned vehicles for presidential use, often specifying advanced communications equipment, special convenience features, armor plating, and defense countermeasures. American cars are traditionally chosen for the role. The most recent vehicle to be customized as the presidential car is a Chevrolet Kodiak-based, Cadillac-badged limousine often referred to as Cadillac One and occasionally as Limo One (a reference to the U.S. presidential aircraft, Air Force One)

The current presidential limousine entered service on January 20, 2009. According to the manufacturer, General Motors, the 2009 presidential limousine, based on the Cadillac DTS, is the first not to carry a specific model name. The vehicle's outward appearance carries many current Cadillac styling themes, but does not resemble any particular production vehicle. The body itself seems to be a modification of the immediately previous DTS-badged Presidential limousines, but the vehicle's chassis and driveline are sourced from the Chevrolet Kodiak commercial truck. Many body components are sourced from a variety of Cadillac vehicles; for example, the car uses Cadillac Escalade headlights, side mirrors and door handles. The tail of the car seems to use the taillights and back up lights from the Cadillac STS sedan. Although a price tag has not been announced, each limousine is assumed to cost US$300,000

General specifications

The Secret Service refers to the heavily armored vehicle as The Beast. Most details of the car are classified for security reasons. A special night vision system is in a secret location. Special loops replace the stock door handles; agents hold on to them when running alongside the car. Goodyear run-flat tires fit into extra-large wheel wells. The car is sealed against biochemical attacks. Kept in the trunk is a blood bank of the President's blood typeIt also has its own oxygen supply.
The car can seat seven people, including the President. The front seats two, and includes a console-mounted communications center. A glass partition divides the front from back. Three rear-facing seats are in the back, with cushions that are able to fold over the partition. The two rear seats are reserved for the president and another passenger; these seats have the ability to recline individually. A folding desk is between the two rear seats. Storage compartments in the interior panels of the car contain communications equipment which is called the Limousine Control Package and is operated by the White House Communications Agency. This is the voice and data device that links the vehicle to the WHCA Roadrunner at the rear of the motorcade allowing command and control (or "C2") functions to be performed from the limo. The trunk lid has five antennasThe car is driven by a specially trained Secret Service agent who is capable of performing a J-turn. The President's lead protective agent usually sits in the front passenger seat.
On domestic trips, vehicles carrying the president display the American and Presidential Standard flags, which are illuminated by directional flood lights mounted on the hood. When the President performs a state visit to a foreign country, the Presidential Standard is replaced by the foreign country's flag. The limousine is airlifted for domestic and international use primarily by a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III.
The vehicle fuel efficiency is about 8 miles per US gallon (29 L/100 km; 9.6 mpg-imp)
The United States government also operates similarly designed limousines for VIP guests, visiting heads of government, and heads of state.

Maneuverability

The armored Cadillac DTS has generated media attention for its poor maneuverability, particularly when deployed to countries whose road proportions pre-date the motorcar by several years. The US Presidential Car was filmed in 2009 taking an extremely long time trying to park in Downing Street, London, the residence of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. An armored Cadillac DTS which was claimed by journalists to be the US Presidential Car, became grounded on a ramp leading from the US Embassy in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland in 2011.

When it comes to the matter of he president of the most powerful country in the world, well , security is matters a lot.

The Peugeot Onyx supercar concept is guaranteed to be one of the stars of the 2012 Paris motor show, with the French manufacturer today revealing the awesome performance potential of the coupe’s V8 diesel hybrid powertrain.
Rather than preview a future production supercar model, the Onyx concept is a development project intended to showcase the imagination and skill of Peugeot’s designers and engineers.
The result is impressive nonetheless, with the oil-burning Onyx concept producing almost as much power as the Lamborghini Aventador.
The mid/rear-mounted 3.7-litre V8 diesel engine produces 447kW (600hp), which is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential transmission.
Peugeot’s Hybrid4 technology recovers kinetic energy during braking and stores it in a lithium-ion battery pack. The energy is released automatically under hard acceleration, boosting power by 60kW for a total output of 507kW.
Peugeot is yet to reveal the Onyx’s sprint time or top speed, but with a total weight of just 1100kg – almost 475kg lighter than the Aventador – it’s guaranteed to fly.
At 4650mm long, 2200mm wide and 1130mm tall, the Peugeot Onyx concept is 130mm shorter, 170mm wider and 6mm taller than the Lambo.
Peugeot’s R&D department developed the car’s carbonfibre chassis in collaboration with Peugeot Sport. The central structure consists of only 12 parts, eliminating connecting plates, improving torsional stiffness, and keeping weight down to just 100kg.
The wings and doors are handcrafted pure copper sheets while the rest of the body is carbonfibre painted matt black.
The cabin is formed as a one-piece pod with no stitching or joins, creating a cocoon-like environment, which Onyx interior designer Julien Cueff said was inspired by an egg carton.
“With remarkable economy of material, it protects very fragile items,” Cueff said.
The dashboard is constructed from ‘newspaper wood’, a material composed of recycled newspaper that is assembled and compressed to create ‘logs’ that are then carved into shape, creating a wood grain effect.
A head-up display houses the standard instrument cluster information, while the hybrid data is displayed on the car’s digital screens.
A series of aluminium toggles sit above the driver’s head in front of a strip displaying images from the three rear-facing cameras: two in the side ‘mirrors’ and the third providing a panoramic view out the rear.
If it all seems a little too good to be true, be sure to check back on September 27 when the Peugeot Onyx concept is unveiled in the flesh on the stand in Paris.
Now lets look a concept car from the legendary Mercedes company. It's the Mercedes gran turismo concept car.
For the new PlayStation® 3 racing game Gran Turismo® 6, the Mercedes-Benz designers have developed the visionary concept of a super sports car – the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo. Extreme proportions, sensual contours and intelligently implemented high tech blend to form a breathtaking body. As a 1:1-scale model, the Mercedes-BenzAMG Vision Gran Turismo is celebrating its world premiere at the opening of the new Mercedes-Benz Research & Development Center in Sunnyvale, California.

Amazing isn't it. Welcome to the world of concept cars.

Sorry for the delay guys. Now,lets take a look at the most limited production car  Maybach Exelero.

The Maybach Exelero is a high-performance unique sports car. It's Maybach's most expensive car with the price of about $8 million. The 700 hp (522 kW) two-seater with a twin turbo V12 engine is a one-off design built on request for Fulda Tires. Fulda is using this car as a reference vehicle to test a new generation of wide tires. The German luxury car manufacturer created the model as a modern interpretation of its legendary streamlined sportscar from the 1930s. There are various allusions to the historical predecessor, which was likewise based on a powerful Maybach automobile. In this case, the Maybach SW 38 was also used by Fulda for tire testing. The car is also famous for being portrayed in one of the episodes of long-running German show;Cobra 11. Car is currently located in and owned by Mechatronik in Germany.
Jay-Z featured the car in the music video for "Lost One".

The Rolls-Royce 10 hp was the first car to be produced as a result of an agreement of 23 December 1904 between Charles Rolls and Henry Royce, and badged as a Rolls-Royce.
The 10 hp was a development of Henry Royce's first car, the Royce 10, of which he produced three prototypes in 1903. This was itself based on a second-hand Decauville owned by Royce which he correctly believed he could improve. In particular, Royce succeeded in making his car significantly quieter than existing cars.

Comin gto the world's 6th most expensive car at auction. It's the 1937 mercedes benz540 k special roadster.
Introduced at the 1936 Paris Motor Show, the Friedrich Geiger designed car was a development to the 500K, itself a development of the SSK. Available as a two seater cabriolet, four seater coupĂ© or seven seater limousine with armoured sides and armoured glass, it was one of the largest cars of the time.

The straight-8 cylinder engine of the 500K was increased to 5,401 cubic centimetres (329.6 cu in), which aspirated by twin pressurized updraft carburetors, developed a natural 115 hp (86 kW). However, there was an attached Roots supercharger which could either be engaged manually for short periods, or automatically when the accelerator was pushed fully to the floor. This increased power to 180 hp (130 kW), creating a top speed of 170 kilometres per hour (110 mph).

This is the 5th of this kind.

The refrigerators were included out of gratuity.

3.The car was rough but drive-able. Taking the refrigerators into account, he essentially paid about $600 per car. Restoration costs would bring the total cost up to about 1 million Francs, or $2,858 US, per car. The cars were delivered to the states in January 1951.

4.After closing his museum in 1986 in 1987 the car was sold direct from Briggs Cunningham's collection by Christie's for £5.5 million or $9.7 million U.S. at the Royal Albert Hall, to Swedish property tycoon Hans Thulin.

Coming to the world's 4th most expensive car at auctions, this place is grabbed by 1931 duesenberg model j long-wheel base coupe.
E.L. Cord, the owner of Auburn Automobile, and other transportation firms, bought the company on October 26, 1926 for the brothers' engineering skills, talent and the brand name in order to produce luxury cars. He challenged Fred Duesenberg to design an automobile that would be the best in the world.
He also ordered a large chassis to be able to compete with the biggest, most powerful, and most luxurious European cars of the era, such as Hispano-SuizaIsotta-FraschiniMercedes-Benz, or Rolls-Royce, to name a few.

The straight eight model J motor was based on the company's successful racing engines of the 1920s and though designed by Duesenberg they were manufactured by Lycoming, another company owned by Cord.

In unsupercharged form, it produced an impressive (for the period) 265 horsepower (198 kW) from dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder.

Impressive figures for a vintage car. Isn't it.That's the reason it reached a remarkable price of about $10.34Million at auction.

The next coming car stands as the 3rd most auction paid car. It's the 1961 ferrari 250 gt swb california spyder.

The car has a 300-horsepower 3.0-liter V-12 engine and a four-speed manual transmission, and it had an eight-year racing history in both Europe and the United States.

It won first place in the 2006 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, an event where classic cars are judged based on their appearance.

This car can be considered as the 2nd most paid car at an auction. An unknown buyer bought this car at an incredible price of $16.4 Million.
The above 10 are the most expensive production cars in the world whose price is decided by the company as soon as they come out of the production line. But there are some good old classic cars which touched a mark of $30Million in some auctions. So, lets take a look at some of those classic babes

1.

A 1954 Mercedes-Benz race car sold for a record $30 million at an auction in England Friday.

While collectible cars have been sold privately for more, this is the highest price ever paid for a car at a public auction.

The Mercedes W196R Formula 1 race car, powered by a 2.5-liter 8-cylinder engine, was one of a group of race cars that won 9 World Championship-qualifying Grand Prix races in 1954 and '55.

This car, in particular, won two of those races. It was driven by legendary Argentinian-born driver Juan Manuel Fangio and is the only W196 race car not currently housed in a museum or owned by Mercedes-Benz.

Part of the car's ultra-high value had to do with its largely original, unrestored condition. These days car collectors prefer to buy automobiles that haven't been cleaned and repaired to look new.

Astonishing right.Well there is a saying "old is gold" .The more dirty it is the more expensive it is.

W Motors plans to only produce seven units of the car. The first pre-production Lykan HyperSport was launched at the International Dubai Motor Show in November 2013.

The cause of the car's expensive price tag is due to its included options. It is the first car to have diamonds in its headlights. The front lights are made up of titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds (15cts).

Sunday 8 June 2014

Now we came to the world's top3 expensive cars. These top 3 are awesome like the rest 7 cars.

So,now the car that stands as the world's 3rd most expensive car is Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4.
The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engined sports car, designed and developed by the Volkswagen Group and manufactured in Molsheim, France by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.

The Super Sport version of the Veyron is the fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph). The original version has a top speed of 408.47 km/h (253.81 mph)

In 1998, the Volkswagen Group purchased the trademark rights on the former car manufacturer Bugatti in order to revive the brand. Starting with the Bugatti EB118, they presented at various international auto shows a total of four 18-cylinder concept cars.

The Veyron EB 16.4 is named in honour of Pierre Veyron, a Bugatti development engineer, test driver and company race driver who, with co-driver Jean-Pierre Wimille, won the 1939 24 hours of Le Mans while driving a Bugatti.

The "EB" refers to Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti and the "16.4" refers to the engine's 16 cylinders and four turbochargers

So,now lets take a look at the specifications at the specifications of this motor icon.

1.The Veyron features an 8.0-litre, quad-turbocharged, W16 cylinder engine, equivalent to two narrow-angle V8 engines.

2.The transmission is a dual-clutch direct-shift gearbox computer-controlled automatic with seven gear ratios, with magnesium paddles behind the steering wheel and a shift time of less than 150 milliseconds, built by Ricardo of England rather than Borg-Warner, who designed the six speed DSG used in the mainstream Volkswagen Group marques.

3.German inspection officials recorded an average top speed of the original version of 408.47 km/h (253.81 mph) during test sessions on the Ehra-Lessien test track on 19 April 2005.

4.Mid-enginefour-wheel drive, two-door coupĂ©/targa top.

5.8.0 litre W1664v 2xDOHC quad-turbocharged petrol engine.

6.0–100 km/h (0.0–62.1 mph) in 2.46 seconds.

7..0–300 km/h (0.0–186.4 mph) in 14.6 seconds.

8.The World Record Car (WRC) Edition is a limited (8 units) version of Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, with dual-colour scheme in black and orange, including orange vinyls around the headlights and grille, orange rims and interior.

Well, when it comes to bugatti the sky is the limit. The price also follows the same thing. Sky is the limit. But for a car which is  extremely hot one has to lose money obviously. But it can be said for sure that the money is put for a good purpose. It costs about $3.4Million for this hot roadster to come to your garage.
